Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes across Texas
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team during transit
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with optimal route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Overnight shift availability (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Proficient with GPS and electronic logging devices
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
