Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks safely and efficiently during night hours.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status updates and delays.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and current DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to defensive driving and safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
