Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight freight transport across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations at all times
- Secure and unload freight using proper loading techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Document all delivery activities and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience in long-haul operations
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization capabilities
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with variable schedules
- Pass background check and drug screening per FMCSA requirements
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
