Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes between El Paso, TX and major Southwest hubs
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Adhere to HOS regulations and electronic logging compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Familiarity with Southwest regional routes (El Paso, Phoenix, Dallas)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation and smartphone proficiency
