Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently during night hours.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo at distribution centers and customer sites.
- Maintain accurate Driver Qualification Files (DQF) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes and delivery times.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Pass DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and DOT compliance regulations.
