Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and retail locations across Chicagoland
- Pre-trip inspections and post-trip vehicle documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Secure and unload shipments with proper equipment handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metro roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts and occasional weekend work
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
