Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between Charlotte distribution centers and regional hubs
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team using GPS tracking systems
- Secure and unload cargo at destination points
- Report mechanical issues and perform basic preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Charlotte metro routes and surrounding areas
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
