Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional deliveries during overnight shifts
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and DOT compliance
- Plan and optimize routes using GPS technology to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Assist with secure loading/unloading of specialized freight when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Physical capability to handle freight up to 70 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work variable overnight schedules (6 PM - 6 AM)
