Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) on overnight routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations (HOS, FMCSA)
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while adhering to delivery schedules
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions
- Secure cargo properly and maintain chain-of-custody documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of El Paso metro area and I-10/I-25 corridors
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts
