Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (CDL Class A/B) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight and time-sensitive deliveries across Dallas Metroplex and regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of temperature-sensitive materials
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Resolve delivery exceptions and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Dallas-area roadways and navigation systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification required
