Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Nashville and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety and operational standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area geography
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
- Reliable transportation to depot location
