Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, legal, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, verifying all delivery documents and receipts.
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service (HOS) and mileage using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding delivery times and cargo status.
- Uphold a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in last 3 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving, etc.) in the past 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
