Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer units for overnight cargo transport across Virginia
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of diverse freight types
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-accident standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 2+ years commercial driving experience with tractor-trailers
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Virginia highway systems and regional routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
