Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo delivery, mileage, and hours of service (HOS) logs.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo protection during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company standards to maintain a perfect safety record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and GPS navigation systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
