Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) overnight across New England
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using power equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt to dynamic routes while meeting strict delivery time windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Uphold FMCSA safety standards and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR/line-haul experience
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area and New England geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks
- Pass background check and DOT physical requirements
- Comfortable working independently overnight with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Flexible schedule availability (including weekends/holidays)
