Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight transport
- Execute pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature-controlled environments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete post-trip documentation and vehicle maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Austin metro area traffic patterns
- Pass background check and random drug screenings
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
