Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-stop delivery routes within Austin metro area and Texas triangle
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch via satellite communication for real-time route adjustments
- Handle hazardous materials shipments with proper certification
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain customer satisfaction standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Austin traffic patterns and Texas highway systems
