Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries across the Philadelphia metro area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight delivery schedules
- Maintain clean and organized truck cabin
- Assist in route optimization to minimize transit time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
