Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for overnight freight transport
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining DOT compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Secure cargo and handle loading/unloading operations efficiently
- Navigate Houston metro routes using GPS and route planning tools
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delays or route changes
- Follow all safety protocols and defensive driving techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Houston area highways and delivery zones
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
