Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks during overnight shifts
- Transport goods across Washington DC and surrounding metropolitan areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Navigate urban routes efficiently using GPS technology
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of DC traffic patterns and regulations
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour overnight shifts
- Basic computer literacy for digital logs
