Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across California and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Secure and verify cargo at loading/unloading facilities
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Document all delivery exceptions and mileage reports
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- Proficient with ELD systems and GPS navigation
- Flexibility for overnight trips (3-5 days)
- No DUIs or major violations in past 5 years
