Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute efficient loading/unloading of temperature-controlled freight
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD) and compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Navigate Phoenix metro and southwestern Arizona highways
- Coordinate with dispatchers for real-time route adjustments
- Uphold strict safety protocols in all weather conditions
- Support team goals through on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional trucking experience
- Current Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS rules
- Experience with refrigerated trailer operation preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in GPS navigation and ELD systems
