Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL required) to transport freight on overnight routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks when needed
- Navigate Denver metro and regional highways efficiently using GPS navigation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and delays
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety
- Submit maintenance reports and vehicle damage documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required)
- Knowledge of Denver area geography and mountain driving
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- No DUIs or serious moving violations in past 3 years
