Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight across Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex with on-time delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and load security
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Handle documentation (BOLs, invoices) for all shipments
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmissions
- Familiarity with Dallas metro roads and delivery zones
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
