Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-state delivery routes with GPS navigation and route optimization
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Secure cargo according to DOT regulations and perform basic load management
- Document all delivery exceptions and maintain accurate mileage records
- Adhere to HOS regulations while maximizing on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (last 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders safely
- Proficient in ELD systems and electronic documentation
- Overnight availability with consistent punctuality
- Tanker or Hazmat certification preferred
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Knowledge of Texas highway network and border crossings
