Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for overnight freight deliveries
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time adjustments
- Secure and unload cargo at designated locations
- Report maintenance issues promptly to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area geography
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
