Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for regional night freight deliveries
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts with precision
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and ETA updates
- Complete required paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Uphold company standards for cargo security and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of Georgia/Night Shift traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
