Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight delivery routes within Washington and Oregon
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Handle specialized freight (temperature-sensitive, hazardous materials)
- Ensure on-time delivery while prioritizing safety compliance
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain accurate paperwork
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong familiarity with Seattle metro routes and mountain passes
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficiency with transportation management systems
