Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional night routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate logs per DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety and compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Secure cargo and handle specialized freight requiring temperature control
- Communicate professionally with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to navigate complex urban environments and tight city streets
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical ability to load/unload freight up to 50 lbs
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
