Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on designated overnight routes
- Execute precise loading/unloading procedures with electronic logging compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Navigate complex urban and highway routes using GPS and route optimization tools
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Philadelphia metro area road networks
- Ability to work independently in overnight conditions
