Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for overnight deliveries across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Document delivery status and handle exceptions with professionalism
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Southwest regional highways and routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in overnight conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, ELD systems)
