Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport freight between Dallas distribution centers and regional hubs
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Secure and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients during loading/unloading
- Complete required paperwork and maintain delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Dallas metroplex highways and delivery zones
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Availability to work 10-12 hour shifts between 8 PM - 6 AM
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
