Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for local/regional routes during overnight hours
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS guidelines at all times
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 1+ year overnight/night shift driving experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in variable weather conditions
