Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, dry vans) during overnight hours
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Must pass DOT physical examination
