Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route adjustments and deliveries
- Secure cargo and verify documentation for each shipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of San Jose Bay Area roadways
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
