Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across metropolitan Boston area
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload freight securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and delivery concerns
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with Boston metro area routes and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
