Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation for maximum efficiency
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate delivery status with dispatch and clients in real-time
- Manage time effectively to meet strict delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years driving experience)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Availability to work nights (10 PM - 6 AM) with flexible scheduling
- Basic knowledge of Fresno area geography and traffic patterns
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
