Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses during night hours.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling packages with care and maintaining professional communication.
- Utilize handheld devices to navigate routes, track deliveries, and manage proof of delivery.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or damages immediately.
- Accurately complete necessary paperwork and digital logs in a timely manner.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all delivery windows are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or CDL Class B with air brake endorsement preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM) and weekends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and app-based delivery systems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
