Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in Austin's metropolitan area during overnight hours
- Optimize delivery routes using advanced GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds regularly
- Strong familiarity with Austin's roadways and navigation systems
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
