Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently during assigned night shifts.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction is professional and courteous.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Manage all delivery paperwork and ensure signatures are obtained for all packages.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- A clean driving record with no recent major violations or DUIs.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong navigation skills and detailed knowledge of the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging delivery data and routes.
- Reliable communication equipment (smartphone) is required.
