Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver food, packages, and retail goods during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Verify delivery accuracy and maintain temperature-sensitive protocols for perishable items
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries across diverse neighborhoods
- Provide exceptional customer service during late-night interactions
- Complete delivery logs, vehicle inspections, and incident reports
- Maintain clean vehicles and fuel efficiency standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs with packages
- Strong knowledge of Seattle streets and traffic patterns
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for overnight shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently in variable weather conditions
