Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of delivery vehicles throughout the Sacramento area during night hours.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload packages using hand trucks and dollies, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Interact professionally with customers to verify deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, delivery protocols, and company policies.
- Log delivery activities accurately in company software or handheld devices.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all routes are completed on schedule.
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, typically from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and tracking inventory.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
