Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in Portland.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize mobile technology to track routes, manage orders, and communicate with dispatch.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including polite interactions and accurate package handling.
- Manage time effectively to meet strict delivery deadlines during the night shift.
- Unload packages from the vehicle and place them in the designated drop-off areas.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for delivery work (or ability to provide one).
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for accessing delivery apps and maps.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
