Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Los Angeles County during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle special delivery requests
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation via mobile app
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while operating vehicles
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and road conditions
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and tips
