Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations within the DC metro area.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accuracy before loading packages to prevent errors.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Handle customer interactions professionally, resolving any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and inspect it before and after every shift.
- Manage time efficiently to complete multiple stops within the designated shift window.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays consistently.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor for customer interactions.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and proof of delivery apps.
