Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital or physical signatures for receipts.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork as required by DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state license.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong navigation skills and proficiency with GPS systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
