Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers.
- Professional interaction with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
- Accurate scanning and logging of delivery information into the handheld device.
- Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Maintaining a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Assisting with loading and unloading cargo safely.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and load them into the cargo area.
- Availability to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Basic math and computer skills for electronic logging and dispatch updates.
- Reliable transportation to the terminal.
