Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Unload and organize goods according to delivery manifests with precision.
- Verify the accuracy of orders and obtain signatures from recipients upon delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery delays or issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks before and after shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- U.S. Work authorization and a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or logistics preferred.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and handheld delivery scanners.
- Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.
