Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Load, unload, and transport goods to designated addresses in Fort Worth and surrounding regions.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, bills of lading, and daily logs.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and handling packages with care.
- Inventory Control: Verify the quantity and condition of goods upon pickup and delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- License Requirements: Valid Driver’s License (Class A or B preferred) and a clean driving record.
- Schedule: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery or logistics is a plus but not required for qualified candidates.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Integrity: A commitment to safety and honesty in all aspects of the job.
