Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital signatures upon successful delivery.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and ensure the vehicle remains clean and organized.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Update delivery status in real-time using handheld mobile devices.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of all assigned routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred; Class B or regular driver's license required depending on vehicle type.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a logistics or delivery role is highly preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with handheld scanning devices.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
